The Role and What You’ll Do:

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Business and Technology Integration to join our team. The integration of our technology solutions with the organizing committee will play a crucial role in the successful execution of the Official Hospitality Program for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, France. This position will be responsible for managing the relationships for technology with the clients, the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee (OCOG) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and our internal functional areas. The successful candidate will ensure that our clients' needs are met and that all departments are working together seamlessly to provide exceptional service to our clients. This position reports to the Director of Business and Technology Integration.

  • Be the primary point of contact for On Location to the OCOG and the IOC throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely communication and coordination of all necessary parties, internal and external.
  • Coordinate communication to obtain information, approvals, and decisions between our clients (the IOC and OCOGs) and internal functional areas such as Sales, Marketing, Accommodations, Ticketing, Guest Services, Transportation, Legal, Project Management, Technology, and others.
  • Present regular technology updates regarding On Location’s Technology programs to the OCOG and IOC.
  • Guest Access Management:  Manage the meetings for data collection, system configuration, and coordination with the Accreditation team in regards to separating the needs of Guest Access vs. Accreditation access.  (5 venues)
  • Training with Workforce and Technology: Assist with collecting training information from each TEC lead on the various systems and hardware that we need for training new hires at Games time. (apps, radios, laptops, tablets, phones)
  • Hospitality Operations Center (HOC) and Technology Command Center (TCC): Assist with the planning and setup of both centers.  The HOC is run by the HDO, so our support would be for the technical aspects.  Network, Phones, Monitors, TVs, Cabling, etc. For the TCC it would be the technical aspects but also the seating, staffing, and equipment needed.  
  • P24 TOC (P24’s Technology Operations Center) to OL TCC Comms: Assist in setting up and training the OL TEC staff on communication protocols between our TCC and P24’s TOC.  Email, messaging, phone, and other means of communication.  Proper escalation procedures and communication with the HOC, MOC, TOC, and internal FAs who need TEC support during Games time. 
  • Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with internal departments to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Work with our clients to understand their business needs and goals, and develop solutions to meet those needs, while adhering to our company's technology standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that technology solutions are aligned with the needs of the business, and that they are scalable, flexible, and reliable.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver integrated technology solutions that meet the needs of the business and the client.
  • Ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed of project progress and issues, and that risks are identified and addressed in a timely manner.
  • Manage and oversee the delivery of all integrated technology solutions, ensuring that they meet client requirements, industry standards and comply with the contractual obligations.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across all functional areas, encouraging team members to share ideas, learn from each other, and work together to achieve common goals.

You have these:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology management, project management, and/or business operations, preferably in the ticketing, travel, or hospitality industry.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing complex technology projects.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize budgeting, tasking, and prioritization for timely delivery.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English is required. Verbal and written French is preferred but not required.

We’d love if you also have these:

  • Experience working in the ticketing, travel or hospitality industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Experience working in a technology role in previous medium to large scale events such as World Cups, and/or Commonwealth, Euros, and Olympic Games is preferred, but not mandatory.
