Position Summary:

Do you thrive on creating positive change and building meaningful connections in the community? The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans are looking for a Sr. Coordinator, Culture & Community Impact to help bring our charitable and social justice initiatives to life and support our internal employee culture. This detail-oriented, relationship-driven individual will support signature programs, collaborate with league partners, and strengthen ties with local nonprofits to ensure our teams continue making a lasting difference in New Orleans and beyond.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Assist in planning, managing, and executing key annual charitable initiatives, including the Month of Giving, 50/50 Raffle, Alumni Memorabilia Grab Bags, Equipment Donation Program, and more.
  • Provide administrative support for all Foundation activities, including processing and tracking monetary and in-kind donation requests, maintaining accurate records, and supporting grant documentation.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure initiatives align with broader organizational goals and values.
  • Create reports, presentations, and storytelling materials to showcase the impact of charitable and social justice initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to NBA and NFL league offices, supporting league-driven and team-aligned social justice initiatives.
  • Oversee and support internal Colleague Network Groups (CNGs), ensuring consistency, purpose alignment, and goal achievement.
  • Design, manage, and regularly update internal employee communications highlighting CNGs, key cultural observances, awareness months, and diversity milestones to foster inclusion and cultural awareness across the organization.
  • Strategically plan, coordinate, and execute impactful internal events and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, support education, and celebrate diverse backgrounds and identities
  • Assist in planning and executing social justice programs and events in partnership with corporate partners, players, and internal teams.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with nonprofit partners, community leaders, and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at NBA and NFL Foundation, Community Relations, and DEI Conferences (typically held in February and July).

 

What you’ll bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or related field preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a non-profit, foundation, or community relations role
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and solution-focused mindset
  • Strategic, innovative, and data-driven thinking
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Cultural competency and professionalism with high integrity
  • Ability to coordinate logistics, people, and resources effectively
  • Adaptability in fast-paced, public-facing environments
  • Strong work ethic, desire to succeed, and professional demeanor
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational, written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respond productively to change
  • Availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by NBA/NFL schedules for departmental activations
