We are seeking a Director, Partnership Marketing to join our team! This position is responsible for managing roughly half of the COI (contractually obligated income) for both the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans. This position is focused on maximizing partner return on investment, ensuring all partnership objectives are met and then renewing and growing those partnerships. This position will work side-by-side with another Director, Partnership Marketing to ensure the stability and overall success of current partnerships. He or she will also work with two Directors, Partnership Sales on onboarding new partners, developing category-specific strategies and maximizing revenue from the $300M+ Caesars Superdome renovation. Here at the Saints and Pelicans, we focus on developing fully integrated partnership agreements with local, national and international companies consisting of radio, TV, in-arena signage, promotions, retail promotions, publications, digital media, tickets, suites, hospitality, community relations and retail activation programs. This position will also develop added-value and in-kind budget relieving opportunities that are mutually beneficial for each franchise. In addition to the Caesars Superdome renovation project, this position will also play an integral role in the sale of the New Orleans Pelicans Jersey Patch (2022), the naming rights of the Smoothie King Center (2023), the growth of our G-League team (the Birmingham Squadron) and many other projects as they arise.


  • Lead a Partnership Marketing team - mentor their development, help them reach budget goals, design successful, long-term partnership solutions and uncover new opportunities for revenue growth
  • Best in class – our goal is to consistently be the best Corporate Partnership department in sports, as rated by our partner brands and peers. This means we intend to deliver the most innovative and hardest working results for our partners, which will lead to the highest renewal and upsell rates in the NFL and NBA.
  • Reports to the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships by providing weekly status reports on people, process and partners
  • Works closely with other team members on the corporate partnership sales and activation teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives,
  • Assist and support the cross organizational goals of the other departments – season ticket sales, marketing, community investment, etc. to ensure that their programs and strategic plans are being incorporated into the proposals of our corporate partners and prospects,
  • Strive to ensure that all elements of our agreements are delivered in a first class manner in accordance with the philosophy of the franchise and within the provisions of the contractual obligations of the organization.
  • Manage expense budgets related to the implementation and execution of each corporate partnership agreement,
  • Prepare weekly sales/status reports and annual renewal/growth projections,
  • Support the franchise mission statement, vision and values by exhibiting excellence, competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, empowerment of others, commitment to our community outreach programs, accountability and ownership of work,


  • At least 7-10 years of corporate partnership experience with a sports team or sports marketing agency
  • Must be very knowledgeable in the practices and principles related to the sale, negotiation, implementation and execution of contractual corporate partnership process,
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to corporate partner inquires or complaints and deliver an effective resolution that will not compromise the team’s integrity or financial position,
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with corporate partners, co-workers and other organizations,
  • Must be an aggressive, self-motivated team player who has the ability to focus on both team and individual revenue goals and department objectives,
  • Excellent oral and written skills,
  • Must be creative, well organized, possess a strong work ethic, desire and willingness to continue to improve personally and professionally,
  • Proficient in MS Word Excel and Power Point,
  • Ability to work nights/weekends/holidays as needed
