Position Summary
The Digital Display Specialist is responsible for the operation, programming, and maintenance of all digital display systems across the Caesars Superdome and Smoothie King Center. This role supports both the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans game presentations by ensuring seamless execution of all video, graphic, and data-driven content. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, technically proficient, and thrives in a fast-paced, live event environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee all digital displays and content management systems within the Caesars Superdome and Smoothie King Center, ensuring efficient workflows and reliable system performance during all Saints and Pelicans home games and events
- Program and maintain Ross XPression dashboards and Click Effects networks, developing streamlined and centralized control systems for video and graphic playback
- Integrate and manage external data feeds within Ross XPression datalinks and Click Effects systems to deliver accurate, real-time content across multiple display platforms
- Monitor all digital display systems during live events, proactively identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues to ensure uninterrupted execution
- Collaborate with Game Experience, Production, and Digital teams to execute gameday content, ensuring alignment with creative and operational objectives
- Design and produce motion graphics for LED signage, ribbon boards, and other in-venue digital displays, maintaining brand standards for both teams
- Assist in the setup, testing, and maintenance of display systems, hardware, and control room technology
- Develop and maintain documentation for workflows, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure operational efficiency and consistency.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Production, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in live event production, control room operations, digital media, or a related technical field
- Experience with Ross XPression, Click Effects, or similar graphics and control systems strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) for motion graphics and content creation
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly resolve issues in high-pressure, live event environments
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple systems simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, aligned with game and event schedules
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
