What will I Do?
You will work for one of Utah’s most recognizable sports + entertainment brands, with a great team, creating lasting impact for our guests and partners!
The Graphic Designer - Events is responsible for creating, designing, and implementing branding elements, marketing materials, advertisements, and sales materials for MSE events. This role will primarily support our events department (specialty sporting events, concerts, weddings, business events, etc.).
The position will:
- Protect the moral, legal, and financial assets and wellbeing of the company.

- Maintain, create, and develop content branding, advertising, sales materials, and game presentation assets
- Create, maintain and adhere to style guides outlining every aspect of company branding for distribution to groups both inside and outside the company
- Create advertisements for social media and digital display
- Create sales materials, including brochures, one-sheets, menus, and web-based sales materials
- Work closely with the Sports + Entertainment entities to create relevant and on-brand assets
- Propose, pitch and present new creative ideas, and campaign looks
- Create materials to support individual sponsorship or marketing initiatives, including the development of presentations, asset mock-ups, etc.
- Support the building of a diverse culture that enriches the lives of our employees, customers, partners and communities

- Other duties as assigned
What are the requirements of the Job?

- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, other Creative Field, or equivalent work experience preferred
- Web portfolio demonstrating strong skills in graphic design, branding, layout design, typography, image, and print with attention to detail
- A working knowledge of production processes and file preparation for print and digital products is essential
- High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; Photoshop and InDesign
- Professional and positive attitude, ability to take direction and feedback from various sources
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence others
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Must be able to produce quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to effectively communicate with internal departments regarding design projects
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a cross functional team
- Must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
- Must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs.

This is a full-time exempt position.
What is the wage?
We aim to hire at a level that allows for meaningful salary growth as you thrive in your role. For this position, the starting rate will be compensatory to an early-career professional while leaving plenty of room for future advancement. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $40,000-$47,500.
