Job Description

Ballengee Group has created a hands-on learning environment for current students and recent graduates looking to gain an understanding of world of sports in a full-service representation agency setting. This opportunity offers for-credit part-time and full-time internship positions that touch various components of an agency primarily focused on Major League Baseball, UFC and USA Softball. This role provides a unique behind-the-scenes look into what it takes to help our clients to be the most successful in their careers.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide support to agency management, front office staff and all agents on assigned duties

· Manage projects including but not limited to: analytics, market development, research projects, status reports and tracking documents

· Assist in the development of marketing concepts and ideas towards Ballengee Group partners and teams to better leverage clients

· Provide administrative support as necessary

· Available for non-traditional hours during MLB “holidays” such as MLB Draft, Arbitration, Spring Training and Fall League

Requirements

· Recent college graduate or current student working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree with an emphasis in a related field

· Interest and experience in a competitive sports environment; baseball and UFC are ideal

· Previous experience in the sports industry is preferred

· A strong work ethic, positive attitude, attention to detail and “roll up your sleeves” mentality are a must

· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and all social media platforms are essential

· Experience in Adobe Photoshop and other graphic design or photo editing software is a plus
