THE ROLE   

The VP, Partnership Strategy will be an integral member of the Legends Global Partnerships Team, located at our Corporate East Office in New York, NY.  This role will be responsible for key functions that will support the Partnership sales team from the “top down” – and ensure consistency and a strategic approach across the business and down to our client properties on the ground. The VP will report to the COO while working alongside additional key leadership personnel within the division and across the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Senior Leader assisting with 1st sale and 2nd sale strategy and delivery.
  • Management of LGP Directors of Strategy and well as LGP creative resources.
  • Analyze key trends in the industry to further develop organizational strategy.
  • Assist COO with budgeting, forecasting, bonus and merit planning.
  • Responsible for overseeing client onboarding.
  • Responsible for ongoing client satisfaction and deliverable management.
  • Accountable to assist COO with Salesforce accuracy & reporting.
  • Manage creative to ensure consistency and timeliness of client deliverables.
  • Responsible for managing the continuing education, career development and ongoing training program.
  •  Analyze key trends in the industry to further develop organizational strategy.
  • Accountable for LGP brand positioning in conjunction with creative/marketing.
  • Work with the marketing and creative team on a long-lasting strategy that uses smart media and PR strategies to position LGP as a leader within our industry.
  • Maintain annual calendar of relevant LGP events/milestone dates/meetings/conferences/etc.
QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in sports/entertainment (or similar) working directly in sponsorship/corporate partnerships.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce platform.
  • Experience driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnerships.
  • Demonstrates experience using sales materials and market insights to craft strategy and narrative.
  • Storyteller with experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities to clients.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to develop strong working relationships with partners, teammates, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage a high level of detail across multiple projects and to prioritize efficiently.
  • Expertise in identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and negotiating creative solutions.
  • Creativity to develop strategic and purpose driven marketing platforms.
  • Experience in building out innovative presentations in Keynote or PowerPoint.
COMPENSATION

Competitive salary ($185,000 - $195,000) plus potential bonus opportunities, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
