LEGENDS & THE PROJECT | UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI 

The University of Miami has entered a long-term partnership with Legends to oversee athletics ticket sales, customer service, annual fund solicitation/engagement, ticket operations, digital marketing, corporate partnerships, and multi-media rights opportunities.  In addition, Legends will represent the University in developing campus-wide strategic partnerships.  As the exclusive partner for Miami Athletics, Legends will engage Hurricanes fans and donors, local and regional South Florida businesses, and national brands with unique and integrated sponsorship, ticketing, and hospitality options.   

THE ROLE

The Digital Marketing Intern will support the University of Miami’s retail, ticketing, and marketing initiatives by helping manage online product listings, social media content, and other digital marketing efforts. This role is essential in promoting new and trending merchandise and ticket offers, ensuring that our online presence captures the energy and spirit of the brand. The intern will gain hands-on experience in e-commerce management, ticket sales, content creation, and digital campaign execution while collaborating closely with the Consumer Marketing team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Upload products to the retail website using merchandise forms, including writing compelling product names, detailed descriptions, and item specifications.
  • Assist ticket campaigns across assigned sports. 
  • Resize, optimize, and upload product images for web and mobile display.
  • Assist in managing and updating the store’s social media channels by creating and scheduling weekly posts to highlight merchandise and promotions.
  • Collaborate with the Consumer Marketing team to support website and mobile app updates.
  • Assist with the development and execution of select email marketing campaigns.

  • Eager to learn and collaborate within a dynamic team environment.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
