THE ROLE    

CSL is seeking a self-motivated and passionate individual to join our valuation team as an Analyst. The valuation team provides services for clients such as professional sports teams, sports and entertainment venues, universities, municipalities, convention centers, and various other properties.  The Analyst will report to the Vice President, Valuation & Consulting and be responsible for researching, modeling and delivering studies for clients including analysis of trends within industries, market assessments, comparable and competitive benchmarking and development of detailed models projecting sponsorship revenue.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  •  Assist with the delivery of sponsorship valuation studies
  •  Engage in front-end research, asset & pricing evaluation and financial projections
  •  Develop comprehensive comparative analyses
  •  Work with clients to identify, create and implement new ideas, inventory and opportunities that drive sponsorship revenue
  •  Analyze local market characteristics and economic trends
  •  Support Legends Global Partnerships and Legends Growth Enterprises divisions by providing internal valuations with new and potential partners
  •  Translate data into summaries and analysis with conclusions that deliver on objectives and support proactive insights and recommendations
  •  Maintain and enhance database and industry contacts
  •  Deliver superior customer service and meet client needs, commitments, and deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, marketing, finance, statistics, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly proficient in storytelling with data, writing presentations and reports, telephone and internet research skills
  • Desire to present formal client presentations with property client
  • Preferred experience working in sponsorship consulting and/or valuation services, with a background in sports business a plus
  • Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, communicate workload with supervision and understand when to escalate potential issues
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Self-motivated, capable of multi-tasking, and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Willingness to travel
