THE ROLE   

Legends is seeking a Senior Manager of FP&A to join its Finance & Strategy group, which focuses on corporate finance, corporate development and strategic planning. The Senior Manager will report to the Vice President of Global Head of FP&A at Legends, and play a key role as a financial advisor working across Legends’ various business verticals, create monthly financial reporting for the Board of Directors and senior management, coordinate annual budget and monthly forecast process for the entire company, and work closely with the regional and business finance leads.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Partner with Business Leads and operational finance team to forecast business trajectory and to formulate budgetary needs and long-term strategic plans
  • Perform variance and trend analysis versus plans as well as previous years
  • Highlight risks and opportunities relative to business plans
  • Assist in the creation of the company’s annual business plan
  • Create monthly financial presentations for senior management
  • Package business insights and performance summaries into materials for the Board of Directors and investors
  • Build tools, reports, and performance dashboards and KPI’s for Finance Executive Team as needed
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis into questions raised by leadership to inform decision-making

 

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or Accounting with a strong GPA
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience, Corporate FP&A a plus
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of financial statement, cash flow and variance analyses
  • Self-starter with demonstrable analytic aptitude, problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity
  • Ability to build relationships, manage multiple responsibilities at once and work well with others under tight deadlines
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization (e.g., Tableau) and consolidation software (e.g., Microsoft OneStream) preferred but not required
  • Detail oriented and process focused
  • Interest or experience in sports & entertainment preferred but not required

 

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000 + Bonus
