The Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a safe environment for team members and guests by auditing compliance, developing and implementing safety policies and conducting safety training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Conduct safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance
- Create safety training programs
- Investigate and analyze accidents
- Maintain safety records
- Hold Safety Committee meetings with each outlet
- Respond to workplace accidents, investigate and determine ways to prevent similar accidents
- Submit recommendations for improvements to the safety management program.
- Create and deliver safety training to current team members and new hires.
- Develop, implement and enforce safety policies and procedures
- Identify, develop, and implement improved food and personal safety measurements with venue level management.
- Conduct internal audits that have a focus on personal safety, and food safety, and help the team to effectively execute against company standards and requirements.
- Partner with various agencies during safety inspections.
- Coordinate and communicate with Regional Safety Manager.
- Maintain multi methods of safety communication and validation.
- Work with GM and HR for compliance support and reward excellence programs
- Coordinate with HR on claim management and tracking and gathering of claim information.

Education and/or Experience
- A High school degree required--some college preferred.
- 1 year of Safety experience within a fast-paced, multi-outlet Food & Beverage environment is preferred.
- Must have a current Serv Safe Manager certification.
- A Chickasaw vendor gaming license is required (we will assist you in applying for the license)
