CENTURY 21

Century 21 the iconic retailer and purveyor of off-price luxury fashion has teamed with Legends to introduce a revitalized shopping experience to the Century 21st faithful local and global fans. This partnership will bring fans of the iconic brand an enhanced shopping experience in-store and online. The re-opened Cortlandt Street location will span the four main floors of the original downtown space and will offer men’s, women’s and children’s designer apparel, footwear, outerwear, handbags accessories and fragrances.

Visual Merchandiser - Century 21  

The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for planning and building displays that maximize impact on a day-to-day basis. They move equipment, create signage, arrange lighting and work with suppliers -all while maintaining close connections with other departments in the location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Defining, designing, and implementing a creative visual merchandising strategy as an individual as well as with a team.
• Creating appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store.
• Producing window displays, signs, interior displays floor plans and special promotions displays
• Moving merchandise, shelving, fixtures, signage, and maintaining the cleanliness of planogram of assigned family of business.
• Execute visual merchandising guidelines in a timely manner across store.
• Actively participate with Visual Manager to make the best visual decisions whilst maintaining the corporate visual standards
• Regularly assess and assist product merchandising, seasonal changes and floor moves of all categories (Accessories, Shoes, Womenswear, Menswear, Children’s) for retail stores to ensure standards are maintained consistently.
• Travel to different regional activities as required (store opening, mock store, Market week)
•  Identifies and implements innovative merchandising techniques Guest service experience and awareness approaching, assisting, and directing customers throughout the day.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Planning, project management, and time management expertise
• Visual Merchandising education or experience-based formal training
• Experience merchandising, creating displays, and reading planograms
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in visual merchandising and presentation
• Guest service experience and awareness approaching, assisting, and directing customers throughout the day.

COMPENSATION

$22.00/Hourly
