Century 21 the iconic retailer and purveyor of off-price luxury fashion has teamed with Legends to introduce a revitalized shopping experience to the Century 21st faithful local and global fans. This partnership will bring fans of the iconic brand an enhanced shopping experience in-store and online. The re-opened Cortlandt Street location will span the four main floors of the original downtown space and will offer men’s, women’s and children’s designer apparel, footwear, outerwear, handbags accessories and fragrances.

 

THE ROLE   

The Purchase Order Specialist provides diversified support for multiple business partners in a dynamic fast-paced work environment, with a particular attention to troubleshooting purchase orders. The Purchase Order Specialist must have strong communication skills and act as a liaison between our Buying Business Partners and Distribution Partners. This role will involve the use of multiple systems to resolve issues, Deposco (3PL system), Infor M3 (ERP system). They must also possess strong organizational skills, analytical skills, and the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail. They are resourceful and confident in problem solving. They must be able to work well independently as well as in a team.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Our Purchase Order Specialist should possess strong communication skills and act as a liaison between Buying Business Partners and Distribution Center Business Partners.
  • Ability to enter, modify, update PO’s in M3 into appropriate systems in an accurate and timely manner
  • Follow up on all incomplete shipments, PO’s that need updates and complete balances as needed.
  • Work with internal departments to identify and resolve anomalies, ensuring accuracy and alignment with PO’s
  • Communicate with buyers and distribution center via phone and email regarding corrections and updates needed concerning PO’s and entry into M3 ERP system
  • Communicate with logistics to resolve, troubleshoot, and resolve all issues ensuring completion
  • Maintain positive working relationships across different areas of business
  • Ability to work through issues based upon priority and cadence of receipts
  • Solution oriented, proactive in suggesting and creating a best practice and process solution to achieve maximum efficiency.

    • Comfortable navigating and utilizing multiple systems Deposco (3PL system), Infor M3 (ERP system)
    • Resourceful and confident in problem solving
    • Able to work well independently as well as in a team
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Self-directed individual who can work independently yet collaborate as needed within Buying and Distribution Center as well as cross functionally
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the flexibility to assess and tailor communication style to different personalities/needs
    • Strong problem-solving skills and effective prioritization
    • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability
    • High attention to detail, strong organizational and follow through skills
    • Strong ability to multi-task in a high volume and fast paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor
    • Ability to build relationships, be personable, maintain a positive attitude and collaborate with others
    • Ability to learn and adapt to new computer systems
    • Experience with Microsoft to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Reliable Internet/ Wi-Fi connection required – this role is hybrid

    COMPENSATION

    Competitive salary $70,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Locations inclusive of Bay Ridge Distribution Center, Manhattan Century 21 Corporate Office , work from home.
