THE ROLE
Legends is seeking a driven, self-motivated, and team-oriented Premium Sales Manager committed to growing their careers on the corporate side of the sports industry. This position will be responsible for creating and selling the full menu of premium products for the ‘23 US Open to be held at Los Angeles Country Club. The Premium Sales Manager will work under the guidance of the General Manager, Sales for the US Open 2023.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Sell premium suites, tents, tables and club seats to C-Level executives of corporations, high net worth individuals via outbound sales calls, email correspondence, face to face appointments and virtual presentations in a variety of different locations
  • Aggressive and creative prospecting efforts required
  • Candidate should be an expert in B2B sales prospecting as this job won’t necessarily come with any leads
  • Candidate should be proficient in prospecting tools such as Zoom Info and LinkedIn. Should also become an expert of the greater SoCal business landscape
  • Create, track, develop and maintain all proposals, research, contracts and follow all sales processes
  • Must possess an ability to adapt and innovate on the fly
  • Candidate should have a team first attitude and should possess a competitive drive to hit sales goals
  • Represent the USGA and Legends at local networking, community, and club events
  • Efficiently maintain a large sales pipeline while hitting sales targets and project milestones
  • Uphold the beliefs and values of the USGA and Legends

QUALIFICATIONS
  • College degree required; preferably in business or sports management.
  • Minimum of three years of successful sales experience in sports, media, and/or direct sales is preferred.
  • Experience and success in developing and building relationships with a creative consultative approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently; self-motivation is a must.
  • Passion for the sports industry
