Legends is hiring full-time and part-time Back Servers in the Spurs Club located at The Rock at La Cantera.
The Role
The Back Server is responsible for assisting the serving staff in delivering and serving food and beverages, clearing tables, and restocking tableware.

The Spurs Club is a chef-driven private social club in the Victory Capital Performance Center. The first-of-its-kind in the NBA, featuring multiple bars, fine dining, lounge and personal workspace all with private elevator access and exclusive views of the Spurs practice courts.
Responsibilities:
- Displaying a detailed understanding and memorization of menu items to include drinks, food, and specials.
- Following all rules and regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Making recommendations and answering questions regarding dish preparations.
- Serving food, beverage and accompaniments in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Keeping the work area clean and sufficiently stocked.
- Monitor and observe guests’ dining experience and keep chefs and managers informed of any issues that may affect quality for timing of service.
- Provides outstanding customer service.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have at least one year’s experience in similar role, preferably in fine dining or high-volume establishment.
- Current TABC and Food Handler’s Certification required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Exceptional knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
- Knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items.
- Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
