SkyCam NOC Operator – Network Operations Center
Reports to NOC Manager
Rate: $15-20/Hr
Summary:
The SkyCam NOC Operator plays a vital role in monitoring and supporting the performance and reliability of SkyCam’s live broadcast systems and deployment infrastructure. This role ensures uninterrupted service during high-profile live events by identifying, triaging, and resolving critical incidents. The NOC Operator is central to maintaining operational excellence, collaborating with engineering, field services, and customer support to proactively prevent disruptions and enhance system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor SkyCam systems and network performance across multiple live deployments.
- Serve as the primary responder to system alerts, escalations, and major incidents, ensuring rapid resolution.
- Work directly with engineering teams to apply fixes and preventive measures.
- Coordinate scheduled system maintenance, upgrades, and change management procedures.
- Produce regular incident and performance reports for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Assist in refining operational workflows, tools, and procedures to drive efficiency.
- Collaborate with field service teams to relay technical feedback and support onsite troubleshooting.
- NOC Operator scheduling includes at a minimum- night and weekend shifts to support our suite of live events.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or technical background in Electronics, Mechanical systems, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1+years in a network operations, incident response, or technical support role, preferably in a live broadcast or 24/7 operations center environment.
- Strong ability to multitask, and monitor long hours of radio communication-Ham Radio operators are encouraged to apply

Work Environment:
Flexibility to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed to support live events and operational priorities
