Nature of Work:

The Producer 2 position is a mid-level producer job for Altitude Sports.  The Producer 2 is a versatile position that can produce studio-based pregame and postgame shows, while also producing live sports such as high school and college events.


Examples of work performed:

  • Produce Avalanche & Nuggets pregame & postgame shows
  • Produce other studio shows such as betting content & College Sports shows
  • Produce live sporting events such as Denver University & Air Force games
  • Brainstorm future show ideas with Coordinating Producer & Vice President
  • Collaborate with editors and photographers to produce quality content for shows

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  1. Willing to work nights, weekends & holidays
  2. May sit up to 4-5 hours at a time
  3. Work in high-stress live television environment



  • Minimum
    1. Bachelor’s Degree required 
    2. 4-6 years’ experience in field
    3. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.


  • Preferred
    1. BA/BS in communications or a related field

  • Full Time Employee - $60,000 - $65,000/year
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
