Nature of Work:

• Responsible for managing all aspects of the department’s hospitality and internship program needs in order to help the team build, execute & maintain strategic business partnerships that directly impact renewal and revenue goals.
• Works closely with the Activation and Sales Teams on building a positive culture within the department, emphasizing relationships, revenue and rewards with our colleagues, clients and throughout KSE.

Examples of work performed:

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of the department’s special client events, including but not limited to, Opening Night Parties, Playoffs Parties, On-Court Events, On-Ice Skating Events, Networking Events, Partner Summits and certain trips
• Coordinate, design and order all department client gifts, including, but not limited to, special event gifts, suite gifts, holiday gifts and end-of-season gifts
• Manage all aspects of the department’s hospitality budget
• Maintain department VIP contact and invite lists for Ball Arena, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche & Colorado Mammoth
• Coordinate all aspects of the department internship program, including but not limited to, hiring, training, evaluating and overseeing the group each semester
• Create game night checklists for department on-duty staff for Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Mammoth home games
• Support the Activation, Strategy and Sales Teams in assisting with various components of their accounts as needed
• Executes game day responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum
  1. One to three years in the sports/entertainment industry
  2. Driver’s License
• Preferred
  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
     • Business, Sports Marketing and/or Sports Management degree preferred

Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must showcase the following: multi-tasking, strategic thinking, strong organizational skills, collaboration, ability to prioritize projects, able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to write clearly and effectively, with solid verbal communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
• Proficiency in Sportsdigita & KORE-CRM proficiency preferred

Compensation

• Base Salary: $18.50/hr. + Overtime
• Eligible for annual discretionary bonus plan
