Nature of Work:

  • The Partnership Insights Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the department’s research and analytics needs as well as play a critical part in both partner acquisition and current partner success. As the group’s data lead, primary responsibilities include monitoring, reporting, and optimizing current partner campaigns across channels and conducting research to support the sponsorship sales team’s efforts. 
  • The ideal candidate has proven excellence in analyzing numbers and interpreting what they mean and is a proactive problem-solver. This unique hybrid role is best suited for a both creative & analytical mind well-versed in brand partnerships, marketing, digital media, and analytics.  
  • Works closely with the Sales & Activation Teams on building a positive culture within the department, emphasizing relationships, revenue and rewards with our colleagues, clients and throughout KSE.

 

Examples of work performed:

  • Manages research applications utilized by the department to drive sales including, but not limited to, the following: Nielsen Media, Scarborough, YouGov, Trajektory (or comparable social/broadcast tracking vendor) and SponsorUnited.
  • Assists Director of Strategy on negotiating and structuring existing and future research vendor agreements.
  • Works closely with inventory coordinator and strategy team to add relevant research data to department’s presentation collateral.
  • Identifies various forms of market research capable of supporting department related partnership marketing & media sales.
  • Assists sales directors and strategy team in platform development by leveraging research to build sales narratives for specific client presentations.
  • Pulls weekly and daily Nielsen ratings and distributes across KSE stakeholder groups.
  • Manages departmental revenue reporting and forecasting across the KSE teams and properties
  • Works with KSE Business Intelligence team to identify analytics that could assist in the sales process.

Qualifications

  • Minimum
    1. Two to four years of relevant experience in sponsorship, brand/media analytics or related field
    2. Driver’s License
  • Preferred
    1. Experience in the sports/entertainment industry preferred
    2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
      • Business, Sports Marketing and/or Sports Management degree preferred

 

Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must showcase the following: multi-tasking, strategic thinking, strong organizational skills, collaboration, ability to prioritize projects, able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to write clearly and effectively, with solid verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Mastery of Excel and data visualization software 
  • Track record in using data to make strategic marketing decisions 
  • Proficiency in Sportsdigita & KORE-CRM proficiency preferred
  • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a Valid Colorado Driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards

 

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $60,000
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus plan
