Nature of Work:
The Manager, Software & Digital Systems is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and ongoing management of software applications, IT systems, and digital platforms that support Major League Fishing’s operational, broadcast, and digital business needs. This role ensures the stability, integrity, performance and strategic alignment of information systems and digital operations while providing leadership to technical staff and collaborating across departments.
Examples of Work Performed:
- Designs, develops, tests and maintains custom software applications and IT systems.
- Writes, reviews and tests code to ensure functionality, efficiency, scalability and security.
- Analyzes systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex software, system and digital platform issues.
- Collaborates with IT, digital and business teams to manage digital systems and align IT solutions with organizational goals.
- Manages relationships with technology vendors, service providers and external partners.
- Provides technical support, documentation and user training as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Minimum:
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years experience in software development (C#, .Net, Azure DevOps, MSSql) systems programming or related technical fields
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
- Preferred:
- Demonstrated experience leading technical projects involving enterprise modernization. (Cloud, AI)
- Experience with digital content management systems (Word Press), platforms and large-scale digital operations
