Nature of Work:
Assists the General Manager with the execution and logical operations for the Colorado Mammoth.
 
Examples of work performed:
  • Assist opposing teams upon arrival at Ball Arena and work with visiting team on player/staff gameday needs.
  • Assist lacrosse operations coordinator setting up both the home, away and officials locker rooms at Ball Arena for gamedays. 
  • Set up and tear down all items needed for evening practices, morning shootaround and gameday. 
  • Assist lacrosse operations coordinator with all packing needs required for travel, including game jerseys, practice equipment and coaching needs.
  • Assist the coaching staff, team operations and game night staff with miscellaneous tasks.
  • Complete weekly laundry needs for players and team staff. 
  • Assisting players during each home game with any equipment or other needs as well as assisting the team trainer, strength coach and coaching staff.
  • Be able to work 20-to-30 hour weeks during the season.
  • Assist putting together the player helmets to be ready for the season.
  • Assist putting together the equipment bags at start of the season.

Qualifications:
Education or Formal Training:
  • Minimum
  • BS/BA degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Preferred
  • Experience managing a budget and report expenses.
  • Experience working with or in a professional sports organization, preferred.
 
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to maintain positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt to changing environment
  • Box lacrosse knowledge strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with tools
  • Experience working with or in a professional sports organization, preferred
  • Equipment manager abilities preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter
Compensation
  • Base Salary Range $18.81/hr
