Nature of Work:
The Booking Intern provides administrative, research, and project support to the Booking Department while gaining hands-on experience in the live entertainment and venue booking industry. The position assists with event and market research, availability and routing research, calendar maintenance, database and reporting updates, event documentation, and special projects supporting the department’s day-to-day booking activities.

Examples of work performed:
  • Conducts artist and market research in support of booking initiatives.
  • Assists with availability and routing research for potential events.
  • Assists with booking calendar management and maintenance.
  • Supports database updates, tracking reports, and data maintenance.
  • Assists with preparation, organization, and maintenance of event folders and booking documentation.
  • Provides general administrative support to the Booking Department.
  • Assists the Booking Department with booking-related research, projects, and special initiatives as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as business needs require, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days.
  • Ability to work extended hours during periods of high event volume as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
    • Strong interest in live entertainment, venue booking, event management, or a related field.
    • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Entertainment Management, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Previous internship, work, or volunteer experience in live entertainment, venues, events, hospitality, or a related environment.
    • Familiarity with the live entertainment industry, including artists, venues, promoters, and current entertainment trends.

Compensation:
  • $19.29 per hour
