Nature of Work:

The KSE Radio intern will assist the Marketing department with events held outside of the radio station including tent set-ups and interaction with listeners.  KSE Radio intern will also help with prize fulfillment and database management.

 

Examples of work performed:

  • Maintains
    • Manage databases and input information, data, and records
    • Understands the overall concept of KSE Radio, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
  • Assists 
    • Assist with set up and break down for remotes, events and live broadcast which includes tent, table, flags, hang banners
    • Help load and unload station vehicles
    • Assist sales team with various projects 

 

  • Performs
    • Set up, break down, organize, and maintain conference rooms, training rooms, and meeting rooms                
    • Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks
    • Run general industry related errands

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • Lift 50 lbs. when assisting with tent set-ups

Qualifications

  • Minimum
    1. High School diploma or GED
    2. Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program in the field or related field
    3. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Preferred
    1. Students pursuing degrees in: Marketing, Promotions, Communications, Mass communications, TV or Radio Broadcasting/Production or a related field
    2. 2+ years’ experience in field/related position experience
    3. Interest in the field of marketing, sales, or Radio.

Compensation

  • Base hourly range $18.29 per hour
