Nature of Work:

The Event Booking Internship provides an opportunity to learn and assist with various booking initiatives for Ball Arena, Paramount Theatre, and DICK’S Sporting Goods Park. This position will focus on assisting with various administrative tasks including collecting and storing event details and digitizing past event information.

 

Examples of work performed:

  • Digitizing past event folders from paper copies and storing in online network drive
  • Assist in collecting and storing event information for upcoming and potential events
  • Assist with rental inquiries including collecting references and event details
  • Attend weekly Arena Operations, Event and Booking meetings
  • Execute specific projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum
    1. High school diploma or GED, required
    2. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Preferred
    1. BS/BA degree in field or related field or working towards a degree in a related field
    2. Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.

  • All Colorado Interns are required to attend all KSE Internship Program hosted events that occur during business hours. If unable to attend due to work, school or unforeseen circumstance, the Intern must inform the Internship Program Committee via the RSVP form provided via email..
  • All Interns are required to participate in the KSE Mentorship Program by meeting with assigned Mentor in person or virtually at least for the initial meet-up.

 

Compensation:

  • Base hourly range $18.29 per hour
