Nature of Work:
The Digital Content Coordinator, App & Social Media will produce and manage content on Altitude Plus’s DTC app, work on, market and promote the new podcast initiatives, and work cross-functionally with the Nuggets and Avalanche marketing & production to post compelling digital content and fan-facing technology. This role requires a strong combination of creative vision, digital platform expertise, social media knowledge, and operational excellence.
 
Examples of work performed:
  • DTC Platform Management
    • Maintain daily content publishing for the Altitude Plus app.
    • Work within the CMS to optimize content and platform performance.
    • Collaborate with show producers to optimize DTC posting schedules.
    • Utilize social media to promote new content on the app.
  • Podcast Strategy & Development
    • Work on and collaborate with podcast productions to determine the best promotable content.
    • Create and maintain social media accounts for the various podcasts.
    • Maintain and apply Social Media promotion calendar and post promotable content to drive traffic to podcasts.
  • Content Collaboration & Development
    • Partners with the Avalanche and Nuggets marketing & production to source, co-develop, and distribute digital-first content that resonates with fanbases.
    • Aligns content strategy with team initiatives, game schedules, and seasonal campaigns.
    • Ensures all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains high production quality.
  • Fan Experiences
    • Monitor and contribute to interactive fan experiences such as chat and social media.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum
    • 3+ years of experience in digital content strategy, platform management, or media production
    • Deep Understanding & Experience with digital video platforms, podcast production, and DTC app ecosystems.
    • Experience working on cross-functional teams and with external partners.
    • Familiarity with sports media and an understanding of fan culture, especially around the NHL, NBA, NFL and College Football.
    • Passion for storytelling, innovation, and creating fan-first experiences.
    • Must possess a driver's license or be able to obtain one upon hire.
    • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Preferred
    • Experience with content management systems, audio/video editing platforms, and analytics dashboards.
    • Previous experience in a sports, entertainment, or media-tech company.
    • Understanding & experience with current trends in OTT, subscription services, and mobile engagement.

Compensation:
  • Base wage range $26.44 - $31.25 per hour
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
