WHO YOU ARE
You are a visual storyteller who brings the club’s events to life through compelling photography. From community programs and partner activations to press events, player appearances, and behind-the-scenes access, you capture the moments that connect the club to its fans, partners, and community.
You work with speed, precision, and creativity delivering high-quality images in real time while maintaining consistency with the club’s brand and visual style. You manage a clean, organized archive and ensure photos are properly tagged, stored, and accessible for future use across digital platforms, marketing, media, and historical needs.
You are a skilled photo editor with a refined eye for detail, tone, and visual cohesion. Through thoughtful, efficient post-production, you elevate images and ensure every deliverable aligns with the club’s standards of quality and artistic identity, enabling the club to consistently present polished, compelling visuals that strengthen our brand and enhance the impact of our storytelling across all platforms.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Success Criteria: Capture, organize, and deliver high-quality photography that elevates the club’s brand across events, community initiatives, partner activations, and behind-the-scenes storytelling while maintaining a clean, accessible archive and ensuring consistent visual standards across all internal and freelance photography.
- Event & Activation Coverage: Photograph club events, community programming, appearances, sponsor activations, trainings, press moments, and behind-the-scenes content with a focus on storytelling, brand consistency, and real-time delivery when needed.
- Behind-the-Scenes Access & Culture Building: Document authentic moments with players, coaches, fans, partners, VIPs, and staff that humanize the club and deepen emotional connection with audiences.
- Photo Editing & Delivery: Perform quick-turn or same-day editing for internal requests, digital content, media outlets, and partner needs. Deliver polished, on-brand images that meet technical standards and visual guidelines.
- Archiving & Asset Management: Maintain a structured and organized photo archive including tagging, metadata accuracy, file naming, and storage. Ensure assets are easy to find, share, and repurpose across Marketing, Digital, Partnerships, Media, and Communications.
- Freelance Photographer Collaboration: Partner closely throughout shoots to ensure visual consistency, inspire creative approaches, and deliver high-quality images that align with the club’s style and storytelling goals.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Digital, Social, Partnerships, Communications, and Community Relations to understand coverage needs, access requirements, and distribution priorities.
- Logistics & Preparation: Coordinate event logistics including equipment readiness, shot lists, credentialing, and movement planning to ensure efficient coverage across multiple locations or overlapping events.
- Strategic Storytelling Support: Capture photography that supports larger brand initiatives, partner commitments, community storytelling, and long-term historical value of the club.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
- Typical office conditions
- Ability to work nights, weekends, including standing at sporting or other events for extended periods of time
- Occasional travel to other markets for match coverage and networking.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Preferred
- Professional, collegiate, and/or media related sales and management experience
- Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards
