Nature of Work:
Work closely with Business Intelligence department, and the KSE Sales, Service and Marketing teams. This individual will focus on customer, sales, marketing, and operational insight through statistical analysis, analytic projects, data modeling, and research. This individual will proactively maintain a positive, influential reputation with staff and management in demonstrating the importance of data driven information.
 
Examples of Work Performed:
  • Analyze revenue data and recommend strategies to drive profitable growth
  • Evaluate sales trends and propose pricing changes
  • Analyze and make recommendations for customer acquisition and retention campaigns including segmentation and testing strategies
  • Develop techniques to identify, extract, and analyze data to support business decisions
  • Learn and master new technologies and existing software platforms such as Tableau, SQL, GCP, and new AI technologies
  • Advocate and demonstrate the value of using data in helping to drive business decisions
  • Fully document work processes and activities

Qualifications
  • Applicants must be pursing an undergraduate degree in business analytics, business intelligence, mathematics, computer science, data science, economics, or similar field.
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at time of hire
 
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of analytic tools/languages (e.g. Tableau, R, Python)
  • Knowledge of data modeling, and/or SQL
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with both technical and business minded professionals
  • Ability to work independently
 
Compensation
  • Base Salary Range $18.81 per hour
