Nature of Work:
Ensures all audio, video, and scoring equipment for KSE owned properties operates and performs properly.
 
Examples of work performed:
  • Set up, troubleshoot & maintains scoring systems for leagues such as NHL, NBA, NLL, MLS. This includes testing all equipment before every event.
  • Assist in the upgrade and maintenance of league equipment.
  • Event support for all AV related systems. This includes games, concerts, and other large events.
  • Provide support for the Private Meetings and Events department and clients with AV needs and issues. This includes trouble shooting, repairs, and maintenance of Audio Video systems in meeting and event spaces. 
  • Maintains Interior and exterior LED digital signage boards as well as the TV systems.
  • Installation, removal, and troubleshooting of cabling including pulling, terminating, and testing cat5e/6, video, RGB, HDMI, DVI and audio cables.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers/vendors via phone and web support for troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Service and maintain the building two-way radio system including infrastructure and radio devices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
  • Stand, walk, talk, hear, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms up to 2/3 of time. 
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl up to 1/3 of time. 
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. up to 2/3 of time; up to 50 lbs. up to 1/3 of time. 
  • Moderate to very loud noise. 
  • Clear vision at 20”, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and identify and distinguish colors. 
  • Work near moving mechanical parts up to 2/3 of time. 
  • Work in high, precarious places, in outdoor weather conditions, and with risk of electrical shock, up to 1/4 of time. 
Qualifications
  • Minimum
    • High School or GED
    • 2+ years’ experience in related entertainment or audio-visual field.
    • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Preferred
    • CTS Certifications
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain Audio, Video, Lighting Control, & scoring systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot system problems, determine and implement solutions. 
  • Through knowledge of local codes and OSHA safety standards. 
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and schematics. 
  • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards. 
  • Ability to work a varied schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge/skill in Word and Excel.  
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism.
  • Ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting and demonstrate good judgment skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to changing environments.
 
Compensation
  • Base hourly range $ $25.00-$26.78 per hour.
