The Strategy & Analytics team supports the broader KSE family of companies in business areas regarding data, customer insights, revenue strategy, marketing communications, and more.
 
Nature of Work:
The Analyst, Business Intelligence will primarily support the Nuggets, Avalanche, Rapids, and Mammoth sales, service and marketing teams.  The nature of the support will be a combination two core responsibilities.  First, developing data visualization (e.g. Tableau) and reporting (proactive, standardized, and ad hoc) on sales, service, marketing, fan engagement and other areas of the business.  Second, providing actionable insights and analysis to the relevant stakeholders to help improve and grow the specific business.
 
Examples of work performed:
  • Maintains relevant dashboards and other data visualizations to ensure quality control as well as ensuring live data connections are operating as expected and that usage within the organization is at optimal levels.
  • Works with sales, service and marketing leadership to understand business objectives, business data blind spots, and opportunities for improved understanding, revenue generation, and recurring business.
  • Performs regular reviews of data sharing, insights and reporting to ensure accuracy and relevance to the business.
  • Manages the library of reporting and data storage, to ensure compliance with corporate data governance and related directives.
  • Hold information sharing sessions to understand the nuance and intricacies of the sales, service and marketing arms of the business; apply those learnings to the associated analysis and visualizations

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
  • This job will primarily be at a desk
  • There may be intra-city transit between KSE properties for in person meetings
  • There may be domestic travel for industry conferences and meetings
Qualifications:
  • Minimum
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
    • High school diploma required
    • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at time of hire
    • 2+ years of experience working with large and diverse datasets
    • 1+ years of experience working in Tableau or 2+ years in a similar program (e.g. PowerBI, Looker, Qlik)
  • Preferred
    • Experience in programmatic/open-source visualization tools (e.g. R Shiny)
    • Data visualization or data analysis certificates
    • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.

Compensation:
  • Base salary range $55,000-$60,000 per annum
