The Accounts Payable (AP) Manager, in cooperation with the AP Director, oversees the AP processing for KSE Companies, including our professional sports franchises, Arena and Venue operations, Vineyards, and Media Companies (comprised of Network, Print, Radio Stations, and Production entities). This position will also include procurement collaboration and functionality.
Nature of Work:
The AP Manager assists in ensuring that AP is processed in accordance with established systems and procedures that permit strong internal controls and quality/professional service.
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Superior leadership and communications skills
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
- Provide supervision, support, and training to the AP Team.
- Strong understanding of AP processing and essential AP workflows
- Ownership and expertise utilizing software applications essential to the performance of procedures (primary systems utilized are Altec DocLink, Microsoft Great Plains, Concur, MS Office. Soon to include Ramp or Stampli and a new ERP system)
- Ensure timely compliance with various requirements including annual 1099 procedures, audit support, and internal and external requests.
- Partner with the Director on month-end close activities
- Requires prompt and professional communication to queries from vendors and internal employees.
- Experience collaborating with Procurement Department
- Assist in the oversight of matching purchase orders (POs) and invoices, ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Ability to research and resolve matters independently
- Requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to meet strict deadlines and work with various levels of management
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks at a time
- Ability to work extended hours if needed

Qualifications:
- Minimum
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in AP including leadership/management
- Minimum 2 years of working experience collaborating with Procurement/Procurement Process
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong business acumen
- Preferred
- Expertise in AP software, knowledge of Ramp or Stampli preferred.
- Expertise in Accounting Enterprise System, knowledge of Great Plains preferred
- Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
Compensation:
- Base salary range $80,000 - $85,000 per annum
