The Director is responsible for planning and directing marketing strategies and tactics that support Learfield IMG Property’s initiatives and strategic partnerships, drive revenue, evolve the brand, and grow the fan base. The Director will regularly be called upon to write, generate ideas, build and execute multi-faceted campaigns, and lead our teams through a variety for initiatives year round.
Responsible for the leadership, training, performance and evaluation of University Marketing teams and successful execution of departmental projects at each property.
Oversee efforts to grow, analyze and strategically leverage partner databases, utilizing engagement and demographic data to help create great fan experiences and content that best address University partner opportunities.
Build and execute sales, fan engagement, branding, and database growth campaigns across a wide variety of mediums and a wide variety or properties. Set strategic goals and segmentation strategies for effective post-campaign analysis and evaluation.
Research and develop best practices to innovate and create concepts, programs, campaigns, and content aimed at engaging fans and carrying targeted messages to other segments of our markets.
Act as lead copywriter, creative director, and idea generator, as needed for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with new business development, including developing unique content and creating proposals.
Assist with copy, creative, and ideation to support marketing efforts for IMG Seating as needed.
Identify ways to strengthen and advance the organization’s family of brands.
Work with internal partners such as Paciolan and Mogo to identify and create digital strategies for University partners.
Work with internal Web partner Sidearm to create, develop, and maintain dynamic Website platforms at University partners to drive revenue and lead generation year round.
Contribute to the planning, construction, and execution of annual sales plans for each property, including development of social media voice and purpose, promotion through University partner-controlled media, and all advertising.
Manage the design, content and distribution of monthly Ticket Solutions newsletter, Ticket Talk.
Develop and manage Ticket Solutions Group annual marketing budget, and assist with the Business Intelligence budgets at applicable University partners.
Audit, monitor and maintain accurate and dynamic content of Learfield IMG Ticket Solutions primary website.
Manage and distribute dynamic content for Learfield IMG Ticket Solutions social media handles, primarily LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
Serve as point for day-to-day creation and approval of any Learfield IMG Ticket Solutions media messages and press releases as directed.
5+ Years Marketing, Content, Digital Marketing and Advertising experience at the Team or League level in College or Professional sports is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year College or university; and a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite with demonstrated understanding of design principles.
Experience with database applications and digital/social analytics tools.
Experience with Microsoft CRM and Salesforce preferable, but not required.
Experience working in a fast paced environment with the ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritize.
Freedom and willingness for frequent travel to Learfield IMG College Partners, Events, and Conferences as directed.
