Join the Detroit Tigers as a Treasury Seasonal Assistant and gain hands-on experience in corporate finance and treasury operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to key financial processes while developing your skills in cash management, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. The duration of the role will be May 2026-August 2026. The hours will be flexible and could vary between 20-40 hours per week and we are willing to work around class schedules.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to the development of treasury reports to provide insight into financial performance and risks.
Assist with daily cash management activities
Manage Colleague Expense Reports
Manage Bank Settlement Reference information
Assist Treasury Manager with tasks from IHI Treasury
Support A/R and A/P
Align Detroit Tigers Bank User Entitlements with IHI Treasury
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current or recent enrollment in an undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work degree in finance, economics or equivalent in a similar field
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
Possess the highest integrity and ethical standards.
A candidate will be successful in this role if they can demonstrate a willingness to learn with a proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement.
