Job Summary:

The Seasonal Growth Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Growth Marketing team by assisting with events, research, internal coordination, program execution, and campaign tracking across a variety of marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General administrative support to the Growth Marketing department.

  • Coordination of internal communications for Growth Marketing department including organization of weekly staff meetings and the development and distribution of meeting notes and outcomes.

  • Assist in planning and executing lead generation events, working cross-functionally with various departments to ensure promotions and event attendance.

  • Collaborate with Growth Marketing Manager to organize and execute special programs aimed at broadening the team’s audience.

  • Conduct thorough ticket sales, activation, and brand research of other sports and entertainment teams and leagues.

  • Assist in the use of analytics to evaluate Growth Marketing initiatives, measure campaign effectiveness, and recommend improvements.

  • Assist the Growth Marketing Director on marketing creative tracking and requests.

  • Coordinate with community organizations and corporate partners to identify opportunities to engage with new fan segments and enhance outreach efforts.

  • Assist with the execution of Detroit Tigers Kids Club.

  • Assist with other Marketing aspects as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • College senior or recent graduate (within 6 months).

  • Prior internship or administrative experience.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

  • Professional demeanor and attitude in office setting.

  • Strong computer skills with high level of experience in Microsoft Office.

  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to moderate noise level.

  • Frequent visual/auditory attention.

  • This position will require working non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings.
