Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Manager will effectively supervise, assign, and oversee the work of the housekeeping staff who are responsible for daily activities of the housekeeping departments in a way that maximizes quality, cleanliness and order. This position will ensure a high level of cleanliness is attained, and that quality and service is maintained. This position represents the organization to guest, vendors, colleagues and the public. This position operates autonomously with appropriate decision-making authority.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for cleaning of all offices, concourses, seating areas, restrooms, suites and public places.
• Monitor and conduct walk-thru’s and report building abnormalities and potential hazards to management.
• The position to include appropriate cleaning of all offices, concourses, seating areas, restrooms, suites and public spaces.
• Connect with appropriate departments to obtain all critical event day information and share with event staff and post-event staff. Establish and maintain effective communication and response time between departments and Housekeeping.
• Determine appropriate staffing levels and schedule staff. Position event staff appropriately for the day’s event or any special requests. Ensure that all staff are in proper attire.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training colleagues; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining colleagues; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Facilitate day-to-day and impromptu cleaning request from colleagues and guests.
• Inspect, repair and maintain lamp replacement, maintain power connectivity, power connections and connectivity at merchandise stands or other powered areas. Obtain necessary assistance from IT.
• Ensure that appropriate final connections to tour trailers and busses.
• Oversee scheduled preventative maintenance and housekeeping projects that include work that must be done before or after regular business hours and on weekends.
• Monitor and order supplies for housekeeping daily operations and recommend cost savings on various supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of four (4) years in a corporate housekeeping environment with a minimum of two (2) years of experience managing a team of employees.
• Prior experience with cleaning chemicals, the Material Data Sheet (MSDS) requirements and uses of the chemicals.
• Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to motivate, train and develop staff.
• The ability to anticipate internal and external client needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Seasoned professional, polished and presents themselves well both in communications and face-to-face interactions.
• Advanced knowledge of Housekeeping processes and procedures.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to monitor and maintain a budget.
• Proven excellence in customer service.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Experience working in the sports and entertainment industry

Working Conditions:
• Irregular and extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Exposure to high noise level
• Frequent visual/auditory attention
• Must be able to lift/carry 25-50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time; climb stairs
