POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Philadelphia 76ers and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) are seeking a Director of Ticket Sales to lead the strategy and execution of the organization’s new business ticketing efforts. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth across full season memberships, partial plans, and premium hospitality products while overseeing manager-level leaders and their respective sales teams.

The Director of Ticket Sales will set the vision, performance standards, and go-to-market strategy for the new business sales organization, with accountability for talent acquisition, training, development, and long-term succession planning. This role will also lead the continued evolution of sales processes and technology to maximize pipeline efficiency, conversion, and overall revenue performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED, TO THE BELOW:
·         Oversee the Philadelphia 76ers’ new business ticketing strategy, with a primary focus on driving revenue growth across full season memberships, premium hospitality products, and partial plan offerings.
·         Provide leadership and oversight for manager-level leaders and their respective sales teams, ensuring alignment to organizational goals, performance standards, and revenue targets.
·         Lead the strategy and execution of recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development for the Philadelphia 76ers’ new business sales organization.
·         Develop and execute comprehensive new business acquisition strategies, including lead generation, outbound sales initiatives, pipeline management, and conversion optimization.
·         Serve as the primary strategy and execution lead for sales technology implementation, overseeing the evaluation, rollout, adoption, and optimization of sales tools and platforms within the sales organization.
·         Lead, motivate, develop, and retain new business sales staff, building a strong pipeline of future leaders within HBSE.
·         Monitor, manage, and evaluate team performance on an ongoing basis; establish and communicate clear revenue, activity, and training goals, and provide consistent coaching and feedback.
·         Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with internal departments including Marketing, CRM & Analytics, Basketball Operations, Game Operations, Guest Services, and Community Impact.
·         Resolve customer seating issues and concerns related to new business ticket sales in a timely and professional manner.
·         Perform additional duties as assigned.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
·         4+ years of sales experience, with a consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals and revenue targets.
·         2+ years of direct sales management experience, including oversight of multiple team members; experience leading a department and people leaders is preferred.
·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Sales, Sport Management, or a related field preferred.
·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
·         Experience with Ticketmaster Archtics or similar ticketing platforms preferred.
·         Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
·         Experience with sales engagement technology platforms such as Salesloft, Outreach, WolfCycle, Conversica, ZoomInfo, Attend, or similar tools.
·         Highly organized, creative, enthusiastic, and analytical, with excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
 
WORKING CONDITIONS:
·         Travel Requirements: May be required to travel occasionally, including between HBSE’s various offices; trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay.
·         Work Environment: This position generally requires that work primarily be performed from the 76ers’ office in Camden, NJ, and requires attendance at events taking place at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, PA.
·         Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
 
 
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
 
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $115,000 and $125,000 / year. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, including eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. 

This position will be an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
