POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Philadelphia 76ers and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) are seeking an experienced and motivated Ticket Sales Coordinator who will be responsible for the preparation, execution, and organization of multiple 76ers Ticket Sales initiatives. As a Coordinator, Ticket Sales, it will be your responsibility to develop positive relationships within HBSE, The Xfinity Mobile Arena and our 76ers clients to ensure the success of key initiatives while also handling various projects that help drive 76ers Ticket Sales.

Widely regarded as one of the top ticket sales programs in the industry, the Account Executive position provides aspiring executives with the opportunity to learn & grow on the revenue side of professional sports from the top leaders in the business.

 
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive Ticket Sales communication and processes internally across departments and externally to our clients
  • Plan and execute sales and service events internally and externally for 76ers clients
  • Assist and support all members of the Ticket Sales Department while also managing all expenditures
  • Review and produce communications, collateral and other marketing pieces
  • Research various topics such as sales trends in the league and prepare reports as required
  • Handle highly confidential information in an appropriate and professional manner
  • Manage department projects by establishing timelines and actions items while driving accountability across associated parties through Asana task management system.
  • Create and manage tracking and reporting system for revenue, sell through rate and usage of ‘Fan Experience Packages’ to drive group sales revenue.
  • Oversee ‘Fan Experience” execution and processes on game days to ensure elite experiences for 76ers customers
  • Execute all departmental ticket mailing with emphasis on attention to detail - timely distribution and impeccable presentation
  • Other projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Ticket Sales
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience required;
  • Up to one year of relevant experience;
  • Experience in coordinating activities and/or events.
  • Must be a strategic and critical thinker who is dynamic, forward thinking, extremely analytical and well organized;
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use upmost discretion when privy to sensitive information;
  • Must possess a strong research background and be an “out-of-the-box-thinker”;
  • Must have the ability to rise to the challenge and provide the hard work necessary to succeed;
  • Must be self-confident, resilient and possess a high energy level and enthusiasm;
  • Must have well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide variety of audiences, demonstrating strong communication skills;
  • Must be comfortable with engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills;
  • Must be flexible & reliable team player, both within own department and within company as a whole;
  • Must possess a strong ability to manage one’s own time and prioritize tasks;
WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Travel Requirements: May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.
  • Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work Environment: This position generally requires that work be performed from The Xfinity Mobile Arena and the 76ers Front Office, but attendance at events taking place in the arena or offsite, including on weekends and/or holidays, may be required.
 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $52,000/year.  This position will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.  Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
