The Finance Manager will play a critical role in leading the financial operations of the Loew’s Jersey Theatre opening in fall 2026. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the HBSE Accounting and Finance team, he/she will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and finance functions, including day-to-day accounting, event settlement, budgeting and payroll. He/she will be partner with operations, entertainment, box office and production to maximize Theatre NOI. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while also providing a consistent source of accuracy and adaptability.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED, TO THE BELOW:
General Accounting, Budgeting and Operations Support

The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while also providing a consistent source of accuracy and adaptability.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED, TO THE BELOW:
General Accounting, Budgeting and Operations Support
- Lead the accounting processes which ensure accurate & timely financial reporting
- Prepare detailed account schedules and maintain monthly account reconciliations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting for venue operations
- Review, research and process vendor invoices and Theatre payroll
- Review, maintain, and reconcile AR reports, spreadsheets, and files
- Review, analyze and record daily & weekly ticket sales
- Provide financial insights to leadership to support operational decision making
- Ad Hoc Accounting Projects
Entertainment Finance
- Attends Theatre events & assists with event settlements.
- Develops and prepares event proformas, budgets, and forecasts.
- Prepares post-event flash report and P&L statement.
- Reconciles flash reports with general accounting ledger.
- Maintains master show files to include all essential event reports & relevant correspondence (settlement, marketing, expenses, contracts, etc).
- Assesses the financial impact of events, providing financial and analytical recommendations to the General Manager and Booker.
- Identities and evaluates potential opportunities for events (i.e., revenue maximization & optimization) and risk factors, as well as mitigation solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- CPA Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Preferred 1-5 years professional accounting experience
- Live Sports & Entertainment experience preferred
- Strong familiarity with basic GAAP fundamentals
- Proficient in Windows with strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar accounting software preferred
- Must be accurate and efficient with ability to meet deadlines
- Capable of working with all levels of management
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Onsite work required at the Loew’s Jersey Theatre (Jersey City, NJ) and occasional work at Prudential Center/Newark offices
- Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays per event schedule.
- Travel up to 5% annually.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $100,000 and $125,000/year. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This position will be an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
