POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Coordinator, Partnership Solutions is responsible for the creation and development of turnkey and customized partnership proposals that support revenue generation, partner growth and retention for the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center.
The Coordinator, Partnership Solutions, will report to the Senior Manager, Partnership Solutions and work closely with both the corporate sales and partnership activation teams. They will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including, but not limited to, marketing, content and hockey operations departments to develop proposals that meet prospect and partner needs. They will assist in the creation of partnership inventory and platforms for prospective and current partners through research (identify industry leaders, best practices, emerging technologies), platform development (idea generation and proposal construction), internal vetting (department approvals), and creative presentations.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW:
- Create bespoke partnership proposals via decks and/or deal memos, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Develop corresponding price sheets for each proposal, ensuring accurate reporting.
- Assist in weekly brainstorm meetings and vet concepts internally as a crucial step in the proposal creation process.
- Collaborate directly with members of the partnership sales team to develop proposals that meet each team member's needs.
- Thoroughly research each prospective and current partner, leveraging insights to customize proposals.
- Collaborate with the partnership activation team to create case studies based on current partner success stories.
- Collaborate with internal teams (including marketing, digital, content and game presentation) to conceptualize and successfully activate unique, sellable assets.
- translate data into consumable insights to be used in sales materials.
- Assist Senior Manager, Partnership Solutions in utilizing measurement and valuation tools to assess the value and impact of partnership assets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Strong project management skills with ability to efficiently manage multiple assignments, priorities, and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a focus on the development and application of innovative sponsorship solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral), with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, and experience with CRM systems (such as KORE) is preferred.
- An understanding of sports marketing and the sponsorship landscape.

Travel required on a TBD basis; trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.
Physical Demands
This position requires the ability to lift or move items up to 10 pounds.

This position is based in Newark, NJ.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $53,000/year. This position will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
