POSITION SUMMARY
Elevate is seeking a Sr. Director or Director of Commercial Strategy & Operations to lead revenue-focused strategy, pricing, and partner performance for experiential hospitality programs across a property portfolio that includes the Country Music Association, NASCAR, Big East Conference, Circuit of the Americas, and the PGA TOUR. This role is responsible for driving integrated commercial strategies—including financial operations, product pricing, channel management, and go-to-market planning—to grow ticketing, hospitality, and experience-based revenue.
The Sr. Director or Director will oversee financial modeling and reporting, guide pricing and product development, and support the day-to-day strategic relationships with property partners. This requires strong analytical and operational discipline, excellence in cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven commercial strategist who combines financial acumen with strong partner management skills. You will serve as a trusted advisor to Elevate’s partners, balancing hands-on execution with long-term planning and continuously identifying opportunities to improve performance, product value, and commercial impact. You must possess a combination of an entrepreneurial mindset, relentless work ethic, an optimistic team-first attitude, a strong sense of urgency and business acumen.
Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Financial Operations
- Build executive-level partner relationships and lead partnership reviews.
- Lead financial modeling, forecasting, scenario planning, and P&L oversight for partner programs.
- Drive commercial performance reporting including revenue pacing, cost analysis, and margin optimization.
- Own product-level P&Ls for hospitality, ticketing, travel, and premium experience packages sold by Elevate’s property experiences team.
Product Pricing, Packaging & Channel Management
- Architect pricing strategies based on market intel, historical performance, and demand modeling.
- Lead packaging development for new premium and experience products.
- Oversee channel mix strategy—including direct, e-commerce, partner, and third-party distribution.
- Guide cross-functional GTM and campaign execution - collaborating with leads from sales, marketing, operations, analytics, and revenue teams.
Experience & Hospitality Product Development
- Concept, model, and bring to market new premium experience products in collaboration with property partners.
- Benchmark best-in-class products across sports, live events, and entertainment.
- Manage cross-functional testing, ROI analysis, and launch roadmaps.
Deal Strategy & Business Development
- Support business development with commercial modeling, pitch strategy, and partnership structuring.
- Evaluate new revenue opportunities across hospitality, ticketing, and brand experience categories.
- Lead deal reviews, risk evaluation, and commercial scenario planning.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- 7–12+ years in commercial strategy, premium hospitality, ticketing, live event monetization, or partnership management.
- Experience in sports, entertainment, live events, or premium experience businesses—agency, league, team, event property, or hospitality.
- Proven ability to manage C-suite relationships with major rights holders.
- Strong modeling, forecasting, and financial acumen.
- Experience developing pricing models, GTM strategies, and premium product concepts.
- Comfortable navigating fast-paced, ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive-ready storytelling skills
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Working Environment: On-site in Charlotte, NC or New York, NY
- Travel Requirements: Occasional but requires flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
Position and Benefit Details:
- Anticipated Salary Target: $125K - $145K plus bonus eligible for achieving departmental and company goals
