Overview:The Senior Manager / Director of Ticket Operations role will be part of a groundbreaking collaboration between two powerhouse brands in Penn State Athletics and Elevate! Title will be based on experience and qualifications. In this role you will be jumping right into the largest renovation project in college sports history and contributing not only to the legacy of one of the biggest college brands out there but, getting to leave your own mark in the process. This role offers one of the best opportunities you could ask for as far as immediate impact, project profile, and ability to lay a strong foundation for your career in the growing space of college athletics here at Elevate.
Responsibilities:
· Direct oversight of all ticket operations responsibilities for Football premium seating including managing seat licenses, event creation, creating price codes, ticket renewals and invoicing, event on-sales, mobile ticketing initiatives and seat relocations
· Assist the Senior Director of Ticket Operations with the Beaver Stadium Revitalization project, scheduled to be completed in 2027
· Act as on-site ticket operations manager for all Football games at West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium
· Successfully create and manage on-sales on Account Manager and Ticketmaster Host platforms
· Develop and maintain ticket manifests for West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium
· Responsible for successful submission of Football parking print files
· Serve as a mentor and support resource for Assistant Managers of Ticket Operations and Ticket Operations Coordinator, contributing to their professional development
· Establish and maintain positive working relationships with third party vendors
· Assist with Football away game and post-season ticket allocations
· Complete ticket sales, seat inventory, and financial reports, ensuring accurate reporting
· Occasional travel with the Football team to perform player guest ticketing procedures for post-season and/or neutral site events
· Other duties as assigned by Penn State leadership and assisting other departments when needed
Education and/or Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
· 5+ years of experience within sports industry or ticket operations specifically
· Experience using Ticketmaster suite of products (Archtics, TM1, CMS Tools, Host) preferred
· Experience using either Microsoft or Google products preferred, but not required
· CRM system experience a bonus, but not required

· Be able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruptions
· Capable of maintaining discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information as needed.

○ The incumbent primarily works in an office environment, however is expected to attend additional athletic event(s) and/or department events as scheduled throughout the year.
