SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST OVERVIEW:
Elevate is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to join our Finance team.  The SFA will be part of a small, but highly influential Finance team that is expected to deliver timely and accurate financial data to executive management.  The role is a perfect opportunity for a financial professional who wants to work in the sports industry, gain insights into the business side economics of multiple professional leagues, and be able to showcase his/her talents in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.

As an SFA, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the corporate budgets & forecasts. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who will ensure the accuracy of corporate budgets & forecasts.  

 RESPONSIBILITIES:
●     Analyzes monthly departmental financials and prepare reports and projections based on these analyses.
●     Focus on analyzing company-wide operating expenses, must be detailed oriented to catch line item variances.
●     Coordinates with members of the finance, accounting, and business teams to ensure accuracy of data.
●     Communicates effectively and thoroughly with budget owners who will be relying upon the analyst’s information.
●     Helps maintain the organization’s financial system (i.e. Vena) & offer suggestions for improvements.
●     Assists with the annual operating and capital budget preparation process.
●     Proactively investigates unusual balances, variances, and fluctuations.
●     Builds and analyzes ad hoc financial reports as requested.
●     Other duties as assigned.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

A.  Education and/or Experience
●    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
●    4+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 
●    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
●    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
●    Experience working with financial statements and the inter-dependencies between the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements. 
●    Experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel (Advanced Excel modeling skills required), Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
●    Experience with ERP software, or the capability to quickly learn the system.
●     Solid understanding of financial statements, GAAP accounting, and the workings between an income statement and cash flow statement.

●      Annual Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000

 WORKING CONDITIONS
1.    Travel Requirements: Travel will not be frequent but may be required on occasion 
2.    Physical Demands: This position requires sitting for extended periods while using a computer or phone.
3.    Work Environment: We have offices in Nashville, New York City, Charlotte and Santa Clara, CA. Remote work is also an option for candidates outside of these areas.
