Where you come in
Elevate is building a suite of software products across commerce, data, and client experience workflows. These products are growing quickly, and the next stage requires stronger ownership of the user experience, design system, and handoff between product, design, and engineering.

As Product Designer for Product Engineering, you will own practical, shippable UX/UI work across the product ecosystem. You will partner closely with product managers, engineers, internal users, and business stakeholders to design workflows that are clear, consistent, and feasible to build. You will help keep the design system coherent, and make sure the product experience does not become fragmented as the platform grows.
This role is ideal for a pragmatic designer who likes working close to engineering. We do not need design theater. We need someone who can understand the user, simplify the workflow, make smart trade-offs, and help the team ship quality products.

What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years of product design, UX/UI design, interaction design, or related digital product experience.
  • Strong Figma skills, including components, variants, design systems, prototypes, and developer handoff.
  • Experience designing web applications, dashboards, data-heavy workflows, internal tools, or SaaS products.
  • Ability to run lightweight discovery with users and stakeholders to understand real workflow problems.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous feedback into clear designs, user flows, acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready details.
  • Strong collaboration instincts with frontend and full-stack engineers.
  • A pragmatic sense of scope: you know when a design needs to be excellent, when it needs to be simple, and when a follow-up ticket is the right move.
  • Comfort reviewing work in staging or production and giving clear design QA feedback.
  • Clear communication and ownership in a remote environment.

Preferred experience:
  • Front-end familiarity with HTML, CSS, React, TypeScript, Storybook, or component-driven development.
  • Experience maintaining or evolving a design system across multiple products.
  • Experience with data visualization, query builders, reporting tools, e-commerce flows, or enterprise workflow products.
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, ticketing, sponsorship, hospitality, or consumer analytics.
  • Comfort using AI tools for rapid prototyping, research synthesis, or design exploration.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Own design quality and consistency across product surfaces.
  • Keep Figma current and usable as the source of truth for product, design, and engineering.
  • Partner with product managers and stakeholders to understand what users actually need before design work becomes build work.
  • Partner with engineers early so designs are feasible, scoped, and aligned with existing components.
  • Maintain and improve shared components so teams do not solve the same UX problem three different ways.
  • Create simple, shippable user flows for complex product areas like audience builders, reporting, ticketing workflows, and premium experience workflows.
  • Review delivered work and distinguish between blockers, polish items, and good follow-up tickets.
  • Help Elevate move faster by reducing design ambiguity before engineering starts.
  • Bring a practical product lens to trade-offs between usability, speed, technical effort, and business impact.

Your Journey: First 90 Days
First 30 Days
  • Learn the product ecosystem and current design system.
  • Meet product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and key internal users.
  • Audit the current product surfaces for design inconsistency, unclear workflows, and high-friction areas.
  • Understand how Figma, Jira, and engineering handoff currently work.

Days 31-60
  • Own design for one priority workflow from discovery through implementation handoff.
  • Clean up or clarify a high-value area of the design system.
  • Establish a lightweight design QA process with product and engineering.
  • Partner with engineers to reduce rework caused by unclear scope or late design changes.

Days 61-90
  • Deliver visible UX improvements in at least one priority product area.
  • Establish a repeatable design-to-engineering workflow that makes Figma, Jira, and acceptance criteria line up.
  • Help leadership understand where design investment will create the most product and business value.
  • Become a trusted partner for pragmatic product design across the engineering organization.

Why This Role Matters Now
Elevate can keep building features without dedicated product design ownership for a while, but the product experience will become inconsistent and harder to use. As the platform scales, UX quality becomes part of the business value. It affects adoption, client confidence, internal efficiency, and engineering speed.  This role helps Elevate ship products that feel coherent, usable, and worth trusting.

The Product Environment You'll Work With
  • Audience research, reporting, and analysis workflows
  • Premium experience, administrative, and package management workflows
  • Commercial operations workflows for inventory, pricing, marketplace activity, and reporting
  • Shared product design system and component patterns

Our Product Engineering Principles
  • Customer Obsession: We start with the customer and work backward. We don't build features; we solve customer and business problems.
  • Ownership: Teams own outcomes, not just outputs. Success means business impact and customer delight, not shipping on schedule.
  • Simplicity: We choose architectural and product simplicity over complexity. Complex solutions are harder to maintain, evolve, and explain.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: We measure what matters and use data to guide our product development and business decisions.
  • Rapid Learning: We implement quick feedback loops, focus on learning through experimentation, and value progress over perfection.
  • Transparency: We invite visibility and are transparent with where we're spending our time.
