OFFICE COORDINATOR – OVERVIEW:
 
Elevate is seeking a part-time office coordinator to support our Charlotte location. The candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, proactive and customer service focused. The coordinator will assist with the operations of the office and is required to be in the office 3x per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) from the hours of 9am to 3pm (hours can be adjusted slightly, if needed).
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet and assist visitors when they arrive at the office
  • Monitoring and ordering inventory for office and breakroom supplies
  • Managing incoming and outcoming correspondence, including emails, mail, and packages
  •  Coordinating office maintenance and repairs
  • Assisting with office events/lunches
  • Common space organization (conference room, nook, breakroom, huddle spaces)
  • General tidying and putting the office back in order after client and/or office events
  • Maintaining the Charlotte office calendar
  • Coordination between Charlotte office and building management
  • Back up emergency plan coordinator
  • Bi-weekly fridge clean out
  • Ad hoc tasks to support office and Executive Assistant

A.  Education and/or Experience
  • At least one (1) year of office administration experience or bachelor's degree
B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 
  • Proactive and takes initiative 
  •  Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  •  Excellent communication and customer service skills
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; Slack and Google Drive
  •  Basic computer skills
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • This position requires sitting for extended periods while using a computer or phone.
  •  Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
C. Work Environment
  • This position will work in an office environment, located in Elevate’s Charlotte, NC office. 
  • Required to be in office 3 days per week.
