Position Description:
The Media Strategist will contribute to the development and execution of impactful marketing campaigns that drive client success. This role focuses on implementing effective media strategies through careful planning, consumer research, and performance measurement. You'll conduct research to support data-driven recommendations and present insights to key stakeholders. This position offers opportunities to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in support of creative development, measurement, and strategy. Responsibilities:
Paid Search (Primary Focus)
  • Build, manage, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, including campaign structure, ad groups, match types, and ad copy
  • Conduct keyword research, search query analysis, and negative keyword management to maximize relevance and efficiency
  • Develop and execute bidding strategies (manual CPC, target CPA, target ROAS, maximize conversions) aligned to client goals
  • Monitor and improve Quality Score, Ad Rank, and landing page experience to drive performance improvements
  • Conduct A/B tests on ad copy, extensions, and landing pages; translate results into actionable optimizations
  • Produce regular paid search performance reports with clear insights and recommendations for clients and internal teams
  • Stay current on Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising platform updates, beta features, and industry best practices
Broader Media Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of directors for assigned clients, contributing to full-funnel marketing campaigns
  • Draft and manage RFPs for media vendors, compile responses, evaluate proposals, and make informed recommendations to clients and internal teams
  • Assist in managing client relationships through regular communication, status updates, and addressing day-to-day questions and concerns
  • Help develop quarterly and annual media plans informed by consumer insights and research
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team to ensure integrated campaign delivery
  • Utilize Elevate's proprietary tool EPIC along with third party tools such as MRI Simmons, SEMrush, and Nielsen to gather insights and optimize campaigns
  • Learn and apply basic measurement methodologies to assess campaign performance and recommend optimizations
  • Identify potential client issues proactively and escalate appropriately with proposed solutions
  • Stay current on industry trends, platform updates, and competitive landscapes to inform strategy recommendations
  • Participate in team brainstorming sessions to develop innovative approaches for client challenges
  • Support budget tracking, campaign pacing, and performance reporting
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning advanced media planning techniques and measurement frameworks
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment while developing specialized expertise in key channels
 
Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of experience in media planning, buying, or digital marketing — with at least 2 years of hands-on paid search campaign management in Google Ads and/or Microsoft Advertising
  • Demonstrated ability to own paid search from campaign build through optimization and reporting
  • Proficiency in keyword research, match type strategy, ad copy development, and bid management
  • Familiarity with conversion tracking setup, attribution models, and linking paid search to business outcomes
  • Google Ads certification (Search) strongly preferred; Microsoft Advertising certification a plus

Compensation and Benefit Details: 
  • The anticipated annual compensation range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000
