DESIGN DIRECTOR – OVERVIEW: 
As the Design Director at Elevate Sports Ventures, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity and design strategies for our organization. You will lead a team of skilled designers and collaborate with various stakeholders to create compelling and effective designs that align with our brand, marketing objectives, and business goals. This role requires a blend of creative vision, leadership, project management, and strategic thinking. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Design Leadership:  
  • Set the creative direction and vision for the design team, ensuring that it aligns with the company's goals and values. 
  • Inspire and mentor designers, fostering their growth and creativity. 
  • Oversee the execution of design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality work. 
  • Establish and maintain design guidelines and standards. 
Team Management: 
  • Recruit, train and manage a team of designers, including graphic designers, UX/UI designers, and other design professionals. 
  • Delegate tasks, assign projects, and manage workloads to optimize team performance. 
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members 
Project Collaboration: 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and senior leadership, to understand project requirements and objectives. 
  • Ensure that design projects are aligned with marketing strategies and product development timelines. 
  • Present design concepts and ideas to clients, articulating the rationale behind design decisions. 
Design Strategy: 
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive design strategy that reflects the company's brand identity and long-term goals. 
  • Stay updated on design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge. 
Quality Control: 
  • Review and approve design deliverables to ensure they meet quality and brand standards. 
  • Conduct design critiques and provide constructive feedback to improve design work. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

A.  Education and/or Experience 
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in design leadership roles with a portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects. 

B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  
  • Proficiency in design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, etc. 
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and user experience design. 
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills. 
  • Must be able to travel on a need basis 
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a strong aesthetic sense. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. 
 
POSITION AND BENEFITS DETAILS: 
  • Full Time, Exempt 
  • $75,000 -$125,000
