POSITION SUMMARY -MANAGER, PREMIUM SALES (ON SITE, SAN DIEGO, CA)
The Manager, Premium Sales serves a critical role for the Elevate team operating on a project on the West Coast. This role will be responsible for managing a sales team that will maximize ticket sales and premium hospitality revenue through a combination of new business development, account management and event execution. This includes selling general admission tickets, reserved seating and hospitality products, while delivering outstanding customer service and contributing to a high-performance team culture.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Revenue Generation
  • Achieve and exceed sales revenue goals across general admission tickets, reserved seating and hospitality products 
  • Lead outbound sales initiatives through calls, virtual and in-person presentations, events, and networking.
  • Develop tailored pitches for businesses, groups, and high-level donors to drive premium and group sales.
  • Leverage data-driven strategies to identify prospects, nurture leads, and close new business.
  • Collaborate with marketing and development teams to create and execute promotions that support ticket sales goals.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Train, and manage a team of sales staff
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback, run effective sales meetings, and foster a results-driven, collaborative culture.
  • Track team performance, provide KPI reports, and align staff goals with department objectives.
  • Develop onboarding and ongoing professional development plans for all direct reports.

Strategic Planning & Collaboration
  • Provide strategic recommendations on pricing, scaling, and inventory distribution.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy (Salesforce, Microsoft CRM, or similar) and report on ticketing trends, sales funnels, and forecasts.
  • Research industry trends and technology to enhance fan engagement and revenue generation.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of successful sales experience in sports, media, sponsorships and/or direct sales is preferred.
  • Proven experience managing a team and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Paciolan, SeatGeek, Ticketmaster) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft CRM).
  • Must be able to set appointments and conduct presentations, as well as out of office presentations.

  • Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence selling to corporate decision makers and high net worth individuals
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize under pressure.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required across event needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) & Google Suite
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making approach.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to lead diverse teams with empathy and accountability.



WORKING CONDITIONS:
  1. Working Environment: 
    1. Primarily office-based with frequent attendance at athletic events, community engagements, and client meetings
  2. Physical Demands: 
    1. This position requires the ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  3. Travel Requirements: 
    1. Minimal but may be required for special events or out-of-office appointments

  • Anticipated Salary: $150K-$190K OTE
