MANAGER, INSIGHTS - COLLEGE OVERVIEW:
Elevate is looking for a Manager, Insights - College to join our fast-growing Insights team. The Insights team is the throughline across all Elevate's verticals, charged with delivering data-backed strategic roadmaps that answer our clients' biggest questions. *We may also consider applicants that are at the Sr. Manager level and would calibrate the role accordingly.
As a Manager, Insights - College, you will focus on expanding our collegiate practice, helping clients navigate an ever-evolving landscape. From day one, you will own client relationships, translate complex challenges into structured workplans, drive day-to-day project execution, and ensure every deliverable tells a clear, compelling story. You will build financial models, mentor junior team members, and present strategic recommendations directly to senior client stakeholders. This role spans a range of Elevate service lines, including commercial strategy, partnership sales and valuation and venue feasibility.
This role is preferably based in one of Elevate's offices (Charlotte, New York, Santa Clara, or Nashville), but remote candidates will also be considered. This role requires the ability to travel, with flexibility for evening and weekend engagements as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Engagement Execution & Problem-Solving
● Lead workstreams and manage day-to-day project execution, defining deliverable structure, timelines, and quality standards
● Apply structured, hypothesis-led problem-solving to break down complex client challenges and develop actionable recommendations grounded in rigorous analysis and client context
● Build and oversee financial models to inform business opportunities, pricing strategy, revenue forecasting, and partnership valuation — including jewel asset valuation and rate card evaluation
● Incorporate relevant external benchmarks to strengthen the case for change and inform target-state design
Research, Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement
● Lead survey development and execution end-to-end: design, content development, fielding, analysis, and reporting
● Facilitate client and stakeholder interviews and focus groups, synthesizing findings into strategic insights
● Conduct rigorous secondary research on teams, venues, competitors, market trends, and industry dynamics
● Leverage data, digital platforms, and emerging AI capabilities to accelerate analysis and enhance deliverable quality
Storytelling & Deliverables
● Craft compelling narratives through polished slide decks, data visualizations, and written recommendations that move clients to action
● Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior client stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, concise insights for non-technical audiences
● Ensure all work products meet a consistently high standard of analytical rigor and visual quality
Team Development
● Mentor and develop analysts and interns across technical, analytical, and professional competencies
● Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and direction to project team members
● Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new Insights team members
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Experience
● 5+ years of professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or an equivalent role at a leading organization
● Sports or entertainment industry experience is a plus
Skills & Capabilities
● Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
● Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguity, develop frameworks, and manage complex projects from kickoff through delivery
● Proven experience building client relationships and managing external stakeholders
● Exceptional storytelling skills — ability to translate data-driven insights into polished decks and persuasive presentations
● Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present to senior audiences
● Proficiency across MS Office and Google Drive suites
● AI-savvy: actively exploring and applying generative AI and emerging tools to improve workflows, analysis, and client delivery

POSITION DETAILS:
● Full Time, Exempt: Anticipated Salary $90,000 - $100,000 + Bonus
