ROLE OVERVIEW
This Group Sales Account Executive serves a critical role for the Elevate team operating at UCLA, tasked with generating maximum revenue through group ticket sales to companies, associations and individuals in the greater-Los Angeles and Southern California area. The Group Sales Executive will be part of a groundbreaking collaboration between two powerhouse brands in UCLA Athletics and Elevate. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Group Sales Account Executive position will be responsible for driving UCLA Athletics’ annual group ticket sales revenue for select ticketed sports.
- Generate maximum revenue for UCLA Athletics through group ticket sales across all sports with a strong focus on Football and Men’s Basketball.
- Achieve group sales goals on a monthly and annual basis.
- Create and develop new group business by regularly pitching new group prospects through stadium tours, external appointments, and daily phone prospecting.
- Work to grow existing group and theme night events and develop, plan, and execute new group programs including group leader benefits and fan experiences.
- Renew existing group ticket accounts by establishing strong relationships with key group contacts to grow involvement of renewing accounts each year
- Maintain accurate CRM records of all prospecting activities and closed sales for account base including ticket plan and group customers and prospects.
- Maintain the highest level of customer service to all ticket holders.
- Meet with the Director of Ticket Sales & Service to regularly produce accurate updates on prospecting activity, sales performance, outside appointments and event recaps, and account management.
- Attend and actively participate in weekly department meetings
- Attend game days as necessary to meet with group leaders and manage fan experiences they may be participating in.
- Attend outside events with the purpose of driving group sales.
- Any other duties assigned by Management.

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience, preferred within ticketing
- Relevant understanding of NCAA and Big Ten Conference bylaws is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems & processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Working Environment
- The incumbent primarily works in an office environment, however is expected to attend additional athletic event(s) and/or department events as scheduled throughout the year.

- Anticipated Salary $52,000 + Commission/ Bonus Structure
