DIRECTOR, PARTNERSHIP SOLUTIONS – OVERVIEW:
 
Elevate operates as a fully integrated partner for its clients, adding insight, expertise, and in-market marquee asset sales activity to accelerate and enhance revenue in collaboration with the client’s leadership, partnership teams and wider stakeholder landscape (e.g. marketing and brand, hospitality, technology, community, venue operations, etc.)  
 
Elevate is seeking an experienced strategy and insights expert for our Partnerships group. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of guiding sales and business development teams through dynamic and actionable strategic direction underpinned by data and play an integral role on our partnership consulting team advising on revenue generation, activation and team management. An individual with a creative approach to building value for rights holders and venues, with the skills to source, manage and manipulate data accordingly. Additionally, providing an innovative approach to our creative materials and building impactful sales narratives to support our sales objectives.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Provide direction and insight for partnership sales teams to execute against high value, multi-year partnerships. Principally naming rights, founding partners and uniform entitlement reinforced by major assets.
  • Inform, shape, and continuously evolve the partnership sales go-to-market plans.
  • Develop powerful sales narratives working in collaboration with rights holder and Elevate Senior Designer.
  • Produce value benchmarking, category executive summaries and audience analysis and more.
  • Capable of articulating and presenting the data in a sales environment (brand and client facing), at sales pitches, client internal meetings and at brand negotiations. 
  • Work with VP to shape partnership strategy, communication efficiencies, and benchmark valuations for existing and new clients.
  • Help key clients and rights holder understand their data and insight capabilities and consolidate with Elevate’s capabilities.
  • Lead outreach campaign ideation, tracking of results, and activating hospitality/experiential assets that will drive sales process.
  • Manage and brief data providers on requirements and oversee associated data and relationship.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Significant direct, relevant work experience in Partnership Solutions, Brand Strategy, Insights, or Partnership Sales
B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 
  • Experience creating and measuring sports or entertainment property partnership accounts, inclusive of large marquee assets
  •  Experience developing long-term integrated partnerships, from ideas of proposal to recap
  •  Effective use of research resources and tools to evaluate partnerships and their effectiveness
  •  Experience presenting to diverse groups of people, inclusive of owners and executives of sports organizations
  •  Understands how to direct individuals, collaborate with sales teams, clients, leadership, and ownership through the power of data and insights.
  •  Highly analytical but creative, with the ability to translate data and insights into action and live presentations
  •  Success in leading the strategy towards revenue growth through partnerships with sophisticated and multiple stakeholders 
  •  Commitment to an analytical and storytelling driven, sales approach. 
  •  Excellent understanding of the sports industry, consumer trends and brand dynamics.
  •  A collaborative team player who proactively and continuously looks to provide direction and support to the Partnership Sales and Solutions teams.
  •  High adaptability and capacity for managing multiple tasks simultaneously while delivering under pressure. 
  •  Goal and target orientated with sense of urgency

WORKING CONDITIONS

A. Travel Requirements
  • Travel will not be frequent but may be required on occasion. 
B. Physical Demands
  • This position requires sitting for extended periods while using a computer or phone.

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule across time zones which may include nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays as needed.
