DIRECTOR, PARTNERSHIP SALES OVERVIEW:
Elevate operates as a fully integrated partner for its clients, adding insight, expertise, and in-market activity to accelerate and enhance commercial return in collaboration with the client’s leadership, commercial teams and wider stakeholder landscape (e.g. marketing and brand, hospitality, technology, community, sustainability, stadium construction etc.)
Elevate is seeking an experienced partnership sales professional to be based in Valencia at the club’s official offices for 2 years. This individual will work alongside Elevate team members in Valencia, UK, Middle East and the US on the delivery of a new stadium naming rights partner for Nou Mestalla Stadium and the underpinning commercial partnerships programme.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record in shaping, pitching, and securing high value commercial partnerships at C-suite and senior decision-making levels. An individual with a consultative and creative approach to building value for sporting rights holders and venues, and who understands the power of narratives and data to maximise revenue opportunities.

KEY DELIVERABLES:
- Responsible for identifying, initiating, and driving conversations with senior decision-makers at local and global brands to secure high value, multi-year, partnerships – leveraging warm networks and proactive outreach
- Fully accountable for achieving agreed revenue targets, sales KPIs, and pipeline milestones, with regular reporting on progress and next steps
- Align with and support the development of client’s organisational strategies, with a view to leveraging them in the market
- Brief and collaborate with Elevate / Client Creative Team with creating customised sales proposals (design, graphics, terms, assets, language, etc.)
- Work with Elevate’s strategy and insights resources to evaluate and prioritise target sectors, to build persuasive, evidence-backed propositions
- Execute and refine the go-to-market sales strategy, targeting new categories, brands, assets, and rights development all in collaboration with Elevate teams and clients
- Relentlessly pursue new opportunities through disciplined category and rights assessment, lead development, pipeline management, profitability analysis and robust contracting
- Maintain meticulous CRM records to enable seamless reporting, forecasting, and collaboration across Elevate’s global sales team
- Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes with political acumen, ensuring alignment between internal teams, the client, and prospective partners
- Demonstrate ability to sell and negotiate in cross-cultural contexts, understanding cultural nuances in decision-making and partnership structures
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION:
- Goal and target orientated, with a proven ability to deliver results in high-pressure, high-stakes environments
- Success selling into both B2C and B2B contexts, with the agility to adapt styles and propositions accordingly
- A track record of selling venue or stadium partnerships strongly preferred, though outstanding performers from adjacent sporting asset classes will be considered
- Strong commercial understanding of La Liga and the wider European Football landscape
- An established network of senior decision-makers in relevant target sectors, with the ability to generate warm leads rapidly
- Commitment to an analytical and storytelling driven, sales approach
- Deep knowledge of integrated partnership rights and contract negotiations
- Comfortable using data-driven insights, CRM tools (Salesforce preferable), and reporting dashboards to track, forecast, and communicate pipeline performance
- A collaborative team player who seeks out capabilities and new networks to support the sales process and secure new business
- High adaptability and capacity for managing multiple tasks simultaneously while delivering under pressure
- Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, with an ability to develop strong relationships and communicate creative partnerships
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences and industry events
- Full professional fluency in both Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in each
Salary range from: €50,000 - €60,000 p.a dependent on experience (plus commission/bonus scheme)
